Stritvaiz

Say: Streetwise

Strategic Toolkit Regulating Integrated Transport, Vehicles, Access & Interactive Zoning

Testing dynamic curb and mobility management to make better use of public space for people, local businesses, logistics and mobility.

Three pilot cities
City of Bergen Helsingborg City of Amsterdam

Pick a pilot city and drag the time to see one curb change use through the day. Illustrative split; real rules are set with each city during the pilots.

The project

What is Stritvaiz?

A standards-native toolkit (CDS/MDS) that turns analogue traffic rules into machine-readable, executable policy, so cities can allocate curb space by demand, user type and strategic goals.

  1. 1

    Policy level

Cities define their objectives, priorities and regulatory conditions.

  2. 2

    Tactical level

Objectives become rules for space allocation, access, user groups, time windows, pricing and other conditions.

  3. 3

    Operational level

Users and operators find, access and use the right space under the right conditions.

Continuous feedback loop: data from the street feeds back into policy.

Prototyping & testing

Three cities, one shared challenge

Three different starting points with a shared challenge: translating policy goals into adaptable operational use of space.

Bergen

Safer streets through dynamic access regulation.

Multifunctional public space management for tourist buses, logistics, taxis and other users, with priority for zero-emission vehicles.

Helsingborg

Flexible parking and loading for a more accessible city.

Urban logistics in a busy city centre, combined with zero-emission and access regulations under the Helsingborgsdeklarationen.

Amsterdam

Multifunctional hubs for shared mobility and charging.

Multimodal mobility and charging hubs, building on the E-lympic hub concept for a former petrol station.
